The Mantle of the White Stag is a Royal Knight’s shield. Its last known carrier was The White Lady of Berenike. It bears the image of The White Stag, a legendary beast said to grant a wish to whoever could defeat it. An Ancient Knight of Berenike fought the Stag, though his shield was destroyed by the battle.
The knight muttered under his breath, unthinkingly wishing that he had a stronger shield. The Stag then vanished, only leaving behind this shield.
